Design a Sign

Putting your personal touch on our US Senate Race

I have received a large response from people wanting to become active participants by contributing to our campaign as well as a large response from people supporting us because I am not taking donations. I was initially planning to start taking small donations from private citizens after the primary. For the time being I think it is a louder message to continue not accepting donations to our campaign in being consistent with my stance on campaign spending reform of taking money out of government politics as much as we can. That said, I want people to have options to be a part of our campaign effort…this is not my campaign, this is our campaign. Instead of donating money, design a sign or banner promoting our campaign with whatever resonates the most with you and place that sign or banner where permitted to be part of our campaign messaging effort. Design one yourself, design one with friends, design one with your keiki, design one with your community groups, or design one as a school project with students after researching and discussing the issues on my website in the classroom. Make it a learning experience and get our future voters involved in the process at an early age. I am repeatedly getting told that we can’t re-engineer or re-invent the campaign process, but that is what I am going to continue to do throughout this general election campaign cycle. So be creative, let your voice be heard, and post pictures of your signs and banners on our campaign Facebook page to share with other supporters.
